Paddle boarder saves dog from drowning, captures rescue on video

A puppy dog stranded on some offshore rocks that were 10 minutes away from disappearing with an incoming tide was saved from drowning when a paddle boarder spotted it. Off the coast of Kent in the U.K., Charlie Head was training for a 3,000-mile cross-Atlantic trip when he noticed a panicked Shih Tzu puppy alone on a small outcropping of rocks, according to the U.K. Daily Mail. "He definitely needs a rescue," Head can be heard saying as he paddled toward the helpless dog. Watch and listen..
